There are many fantastic beaches all over the globe and much of the most beautiful photography that you will see will be taken on these fabulous settings. This type of photo is just so beautiful and captivating and this could be because of the fact that it reminds us of favourite holidays that we have had. With everyone taking photographs on the beach, we end up with very high expectations from these photos. Here are just a few tips for how you can really shine with this type of photo.

- If you can come up with a unique beach shot then you will find that it will appear to be very impressive. The problem is that we have all likely seen the popular type of scenes thousands of times already. We are unlikely to produce anything interesting by just sticking to the same old themes. So what you need to do is to look around for interesting things all the time and make sure that you have your camera at the ready so that you can capture something straight away.

- It is usually recommended that you use the natural scenery to frame your beach pictures. A great backdrop would include things such as palm trees or cliffs if they are present. A frame like this is usually included in the best beach photos.

- When you are taking your beach photo, make sure that the sun is behind you as this is the best way to get the perfect shot.

- Lookout for items which are very colourful and try to capture them in your photo as well such as beach balls or deckchairs. If you just have the light blues and browns of most beach scenes it can be a little boring on the eye.

- If you are planning on taking a photo of someone on the beach, then you need to make sure that the subject is as close to you as you can get. This is the biggest mistake that people tend to make when taking photos.
