Is your family close.   There is much to look at in this question. First of all, family and assistance, most families would love to offer .  Jobs are hard to find, more of them are moving back in with their parents, and many are not able to pay their rent and utilities. But what about the parents, now they are having a hard time with the added expense of another or several more to pay all the expenses for.

Parents want to do for kids. But times have changed. Most families now rent their home, have one old car and work 2 jobs for what one paid before, so going to college is out. Times are tough, but why do our children still expect so much?  Down payment assistance programs are a great opportunity for our children to get their first home, but they still need a down payment ,, closing costs and fees.
