. When you go bowling, the places that you go have equipment that you can rent, but if you play a lot you’re going to want to purchase your own equipment. When it comes time to buy a bowling ball, they can make the holes to fit your fingers just right.

Today the bowling ball comes in a variety of colors and weights. The balling bowls use to be all one size and weight which is 16 pounds. Today the balling ball comes in all different types of colors with the weight ranging from 10 to 16 pounds. When you pick up the ball with your hands make sure the fingers slide in and out with ease.

Now you’re ready to play the game. You want to stand up straight. When you stand up straight your hands motion exactly where the ball should go.

When a person is a beginner there are a few steps you can follow to get more advanced in the game. Master the basics to the game first. Don’t throw a hook or a curve until you mastered the straight ball. You have a 3, 4 and 5 step delivery. It depends on your body type which one you should use.

Once you’ve got the starting point down the ball making the delivery to the pins is called the pushaway. You swing the bowling ball with your arm down, away and to the right.

Now you have your footwork. Once you do your step delivery, the right leg moves back off to the side, while the left leg stays out in front.

Now your going to want to hit the bowling pins. They are 5 inches wide and the ball is 9 inches wide. Try and hit the pins in the center. Depending on where you hit the pins will determine if others will fall down as well. It takes a lot of practice, but your goal should be to hit all the pins down with one roll of the ball.

Now you’re going to want to work on your timing, where the ball makes contact with the floor. Depending on how good you are with this, will determine what kind of a bowler you will be. Perform the same task at home using pillows.

Now we will work on the follow through. The follow through is where your body goes once you let go of the ball to hit the pins. So your arms are still moving long after you drop the ball. When your hands get to shoulder length that is where your arms stop. The follow through should be a natural process. Now you know some of my bowling tips.
